SchemaLogic Nets $12.8 Million Third Round Funding

REDMOND, WA -- SchemaLogic Inc. received $12.8 million in new investment for an expansion round.

The company provides "a framework that enables companies to model the structures and relationships of business semantics that define corporate knowledge and content."

Investors were led by Goldman Sachs and included Madrona Venture Group, Phoenix Partners and individual investors.  The company has raised $18.1 million since its recapitalization round in 2004 and expects the new funding to take it to profitability.
